Get Rid of Blackheads Fast and Naturally


Blackheads are the common skin problems that mainly occur on the face and nose. Blackheads are caused due to blockage of pores in the skin that are filled with dead skin cells, debris, and bacteria. When these sebum or the skin cells comes in contact with air, it causes oxidization which makes the skin turn black. Those with oily skin or and adolescent individuals are at high risk of getting blackheads.

1. Steam Treatment

Steaming is good for your facial skin anytime. Streaming your face will hydrate and soften pores and will reduce the appearance of the blackheads on nose and face. Steaming is the most easy and natural way to get rid of blackheads.

Directions :
Fill a large bowl with steaming water. Cover your head with a big towel so that steam does not escape out. Now place your face close enough to allow the steam to come in contact with your face for a few minutes.Rinse your face with lukewarm water and pat your face dry with a clean towel. After drying, apply an oil-free moisturizer.

2. Lemon Juice

Lemon is natural ingredient that can help in treating the blackheads on face and nose. The nutrients and vitamins present in lemon juice are good for all skin types.

Directions :
Squeeze one or two lemons in a bowl to extract it’s juice, add salt and stir the mixture well. Wash your face with warm water. Apply the mixture on target areas on your nose and face using a cotton ball. Leave for some 20 minutes and wash your face again with lukewarm water. Repeat this process 3 to 4 times in a week for the best result.

3. Honey

Honey has antibacterial and antiseptic properties that work wonders for both oily skin and blackheads.

Directions :
Apply pure honey on the affected area on face where you spot blackheads. Leave for about 10 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeat this process 3 times a week to see best results. If possible, use raw organic honey that is thick.

4. Oatmeal and Yoghurt Mixture

A mixture of oatmeal and yogurt helps in keeping your skin free from blackheads. Mix 2 tablespoons of oatmeal in a bowl with 3 tablespoons of plain yoghurt, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and olive oil to it. Mix it well to form a paste. Apply the paste on the blackheads, leave for 10-15 minutes and wash your face with cold water.

5. Green Tea

Green tea is also effective in getting rid of blackheads on face and nose. Green tea can help in removing dirt and supplying your face with healthy antioxidants.

Directions :
Mix 1 teaspoon of dry green tea leaves with a little water to make a paste. Rub this paste over your face using fingertips. Leave it for 2-3 minutes after scrubbing, and then simply rinse off with warm water.

6. Baking Soda

Baking soda is effective in treating acne and blackheads on the face. Baking soda mixture with water helps in cleaning pores by removing the dirt and the dust particles on the skin.

In a small bowl, mix the 2-3 teaspoons of baking soda with water to make a thick spreadable paste.
Take some paste on your fingertips and massage it over the blackheads on your nose and face. Leave it for a few minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Repeat 2-3 times a week for best results.

7. Turmeric

Turmeric has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant. Turmeric works well for minor burns and helps in treating blackheads.

Mix a tablespoons turmeric powder with 2 tablespoons of mint juice. Apply it to the affected areas. Allow it to dry for a few minutes and then wash the area with lukewarm water.

8. Toothpaste

Toothpaste is strange but effective home remedy for getting rid of blackheads fast.

Take a small quantity of toothpaste on your fingertips and apply it on blackheads affected areas. Massage in circular motion for about 5 minutes. Massage very gently. Now wash your face with cold water. This treatment will help in closing your skin pores. You can repeat this treatment on your nose and face every day if you do not feel any irritation. If irritation occurs, wash it off immediately and try some other home made remedy.
